I believe that gold is a good investment because gold is simply a safe haven investment during times of uncertainty. No Mather the cerium stances gold will always have some value. Investing in gold is a great investment for anyone because it is easy to access and easy to store. Think about it has a stock like amazon always been valuable? No! But, throughout history gold has always had a value of sort! Lastly, gold is very liquid you could sell it in a heartbeat! People are always going to want gold.

Yesterday I had conversation with my wife complaining because of supply chain issues that a box of mangoes last year cost £12 now costing £18 a 50% increase in price. I reminded her luckily for us the majority of our savings is in Gold and purchased below £1,000 oz. Even though our incomes have not kept pace with this inflation in mango prices at least our savings kept pace. Almost like a light light bulb moment for her to reflect Gold is not something we get rich off but will protect our current purchasing power over the decades to come and this cannot be achieved by keeping money in the bank.
