Sucker was a but harsh, but that's how I felt too. It seems silver is easier to make mistakes with. I like most on this thread paid too much at first but as you say sometimes education costs!

It's like everything we get better with practice.  Just had some 2oz coins delivered from Baird Mint (queens beasts), including the VAT I paid the equivalent of £17 an ounce. So I am getting there lol 

But  of course that is still £4.50 above spot. The VAT kills you. Can't understand why the government wish to inhibit peoples ability to buy silver.
