Older Royal Mint Britannia's

Is it common to collect Britannia's in the UK?  I dug up a couple of older ones (2002 & 2008) from my stack, and was going to sell/trade them locally.  I would send them back to their birthplace if anyone had an interest or needed them to fill out a collection.  I will start a new thread in the buy/sell section of the forum if necessary, as I don't want to start a transactional thread in this section.

Yes, Britannia collecting is popular but i dont think posting them across the Atlantic is worth doing as people can pick them pretty cheap from Europe or the UK second hand.

Thanks for the guidance.  I wasn't sure of the availability of older Britannia's on that side of The Atlantic.  They bring a nice premium over here.

I used to live/work in Leeds from 1993-1994.  I actually worked in Horsforth, but spent a lot of time having fun in Leeds and the surrounding area.  Brings back memories.
