2016 America the Beautiful design options, and a poll.

I've posted up the different design selections and what's been chosen as their favourites by the CCAC and the CFA in America.

Have added a poll to each tab so you can vote for the one you like the most. Thought it would be interesting to see if we got enough votes to send them in and see if anybody takes notice.. Probably not though, big bureaucracy and all that..

What do you think of them. Nice series.

Not a huge fan of the coins. Looking at those designs for Shawnee, the only one I really like is the 4th one, IL04. That would make a good coin I reckon.

Cumberland options are better - can't decide lol Probly 5 or 6

Harpers deffo coin 6

Roosevelt coin 9

Last coin I don't like any of them!

My problem with these is that they seem to be celebrating the opening up of the west. Something which was done at gunpoint, and involved the genocide of entire tribes of natives. Some nice coin designs, although as it said, none of them will probably end up being used lol

I'd agree that a lot of the recent designs seem to be veering away from the central theme of nature and more towards more historical. A shame.

Yes that is a shame, the natural history ones are much better. They are still a nice series, I'd like to buy the places I have visited but they are really expensive now as they've been out for a few years. I bet the 5oz would look great in your hand, the regular quarters are a pleasure to look at
