Asahi Surface Damage Return?

I purchased my first Asahi 10oz bar on eBay from Bullion Exchange and it arrived today. I usually avoid these bars because of the premium but the price for a new sealed bar was comparable to RMC and there was a 10% ebay Bucks promotion which made it around $0.40/oz over spot. I have ordered numerous times from bullion exchange and have never had an issue and their packing is amazing. The bar was listed as new sealed but upon inspection it has several scratches on the surface three of which run around 2/3 the length of the bar. These definitely take a way for the beauty of the bar. I know it is still 10oz of silver but should I request an exchange as to me this is a premium bar or is this considered to be acceptable condition.

This is one reason I will only have cast/poured silver bars, minted bars in my opinion need to be kept mint like coins, as there is a premium for buying them that way, I would send back if you are in the slightest way not satisfied, as it will eat away at you.

"as to me this is a premium bar"

I hate to burst your bubble but Asahi is about as generic as they come.  I know they bought out JM but their stuff will never be the same caliber as them. Premium bars are Engelhard, JM, PAMP Suisse and some others.

This is why I NEVER order from bullion exchange!  I think I they buy flawed bars and coins at a discount because everything I’ve gotten from them has had some sort of minting flaw or scratch.  I bought some prospector rounds from them that I swore were fake because the design was rough and shallow but they were real, I assume they are just the bottom of the barrel buyer.
