Steel Pennies...are these real?

I didn't think these were really worth anything, maybe $1 in good condition. Then I gave a few as a fun gift. This made me curious after. How do I know these are real and not either fakes or have a new zinc coating? Are they up to MS 65 or better? I know the pictures aren't the greatest, but the coins are perfect. Not sure if the strikes are clear enough. But I really want an opinion on if they are real. I got them a few years ago on eBay. He said they were from a roll.
