Promo 2013 Panda Medallion (I need to buy the Panda book soon) & no, I don't believe the Kook is one of the 1st 2500 struck.  I wonder how they can make such a claim unless the Perth Mint gave them the coins directly and told them so.

3 years too late but got one for the geekness.  The only other coin that I might get from this series is the Stormtrooper.

a 1/2oz lunar2 horse for £7,51 and a 1oz Panda 2013 for £18,15

Actually bought this yesterday. 1978 Coronation Issue Silver Jubilee Stamp Replica Collection Sterling Silver at 5.15 ASW.  Works out to be £14.66/oz.  It's not in the best condition with the gold plating discolouring but it was cheap enough. Maybe I give it a good polish and see if I can clean it up.

I saw this in a pawnbrokers yesterday while waiting for an appointment and went in to buy it a moment ago.
£63 for 2.5g which is a tad over 3% premium. Not too bad. Shame all their other stuff wasn't as cheap. £212 for Sovs, £108 for halfs, £900 1oz krug, £90 1/10 krug, £288 1/4 nugget.

I think I'll pop into pawnbrokers if I'm passing on the off chance they have anything reasonably priced.

All watching and waiting patiently.....

I saw a couple of others on ebay and they went for £18-£22.

The cheeky bidmeister does it again. Chucked in a bid before going to work on a 1/10 gold ounce Guernsey Double on ebay. (Seller insists its genuine, but I'll still be checking on arrival)
 
Just found out I won the auction for £74.16 including delivery, about a quid under spot.. Can't go wrong there....

Do a date run for the Lunar Series 2.  Then collect one of each bullion coin from each country.  Where the design changes, get one for each year and if you dare, do a date run (Nuggets and Panda).

I know Keith, it was my first venture into pm , i was so nervous about getting something that was not real gold that my logic was if i bought it from the Royal mint i was sure to get the genuine thing, but boy do i realize now how much i overpaid for such a small amount of gold. But you live and learn.
