  1. Looking to exchange this lovely set for 55 grams of 999 fine bullion gold ONO, would prefer to meet in person in the jewellery quarter or I can post Please judge pictures carefully, Set looks mint untouched (A bit of patina which should clear off with conservation). TIA
  2. Good Afternoon, One for the possible graders, I’m looking to trade for 999 fine gold.(Open to offers). each coin weight 19.65g. Would be easier if one party took the lot, Can exchange in the jewellery quarter if not happy to post at your expense. TIA
  3. Good Morning, Looking for gold preferably 999, Coins/bars not fussed on condition or brand/sizes as long as they test true & hold their weight. (No scrap please, I.e ex-mounts etc). Can pay 98% of spot when the deal is locked, Would preferably like to finalise in The Jewellery Quarter (Birmingham)…. But I can travel depending on quantity/location. TIA
  4. Been a while since my last post, Thank you too all involved
  5. Took Gran shopping today, Tesco’s self checkout wasn’t accepting her change… Wonder why 🤨
  6. Haven’t been sharing for a while, Hope this makes up for it…. Not really bullion but definitely an form of art & lust. 1977 Peep-Hole hand painted detail I’m really chuffed 🤩
  7. Unique as in only sort of bars on the UK market produced in this manner, Over the years I’ve had over 30-40. (multiple sizes).
  8. I actually have a few of these Richard 1 oz/50g/100g etc, The ones I bought of you I still have some…. Actually seen a few kilo bars like this exact same variation (pressed like). Don’t see very often I was told by the owner, He had nothing to do with these bars (Someone else was producing these) & at the time we spoke he had he’s legal team investigating. (who knows what the truth is). either way they’re definitely unique
  9. 🤣🤣🤣 I honestly have no clue I tried searching & can’t find anything, Guess micro mintage was made. I can only imagine what comes up 😂
  10. Finally my Helen of Sparta has rejoiced us, They say the Spartans where a bunch of hard heads guess they weren’t lying 😜
  11. Something not seen very often in the UK & My first ever extruded silver bar, Made by yours truly Engelhard London probably in the 70’s or even earlier. Extruded bars usually are more often seen in the States & available In bullion form, in the UK they are produced purely for industrial purposes as rods etc…. I have no doubt this was also intended to be used in the metal Industry, Possibly for metal plating etc… They are produced by heating the silver rods at 700+ degrees & then pushed through heavy equipment & (Stretched out) from the other end…. In theory like when ingots are pushed through a rolling mill machine to create rings & jewellery. Fantastic piece so glad to own this gem!!!! The other bar is a Engelhard Sheffield Smelting kilo (A PIECE OF BRITISH BULLION HISTORY). Enjoy 😊
  12. Thank You James 😘 Big Betty is a stunner eh
  13. Largest bar I’ve purchased to date, Over half a century old over 6 kilos of goodness 😱 Was so nervous dropping this off to the SD box, Now off to the chiropractor good thing it’s only around the corner 😜🤣😂 Enjoy
  14. New piece I’ve come across, Not really a US coinage collector but I couldn’t pass up a piece over an 100 years old plus being a first year release…. The gent didn’t realise he was selling a Carson City mint issue, I mentioned it & he still honoured the price. Goes to show you there are still honourable folks out there. cost me £21, The reverse eagle has been defaced I don’t know why someone would do this…. Maybe they intended on turning this into a hobo nickel & it was unfinished or someone tried testing if it was genuine silver. Either way a bargain at the price I paid, considering the history of the Morgan dollar, Can’t go wrong.
  15. Recent acquisition I’ve recently gone on a vintage bender & I just can’t seem to stop, Some one please call Frank 😓 Mouth watering patina, Looks like a freshly painted master piece 🤩🤩🤩 Tola - It was the base unit of mass in the British Indian system of weights and measures introduced in 1833, although it had been in use for much longer. I believe this specimen was produced during the 1960’s
  16. This document isn’t for this specific piece, But I couldn’t resist picturing them together would of been a sin if I didn’t 😜 But nevertheless the rarest true vintage Indian bar I’ve come across, I.e Dena bank with the HM Mint hallmarks etc but this is definitely on a higher par due to the history of the bank/partition/bought during WW2 & possibly even a love token 😍 A historical specimen for sure
  17. I’m a vintage nutter - my new acquisition - 1940’s HM MINT BOMBAY (SO MUCH HISTORY & CULTURE) 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
  18. Rich not Info on this unfortunately, @Mark1234 Did this come from the quarter ?
