  1. Interestingly a 2 OZ Gold was in the Coins of the Realm auction and sold for £5100. Difficult to tell the condition but would have expected a higher price to be achieved. Maybe too early after release to tell if these sort of prices are market value
  2. Was rather taken with the first 1 OZ Gold Standard so thought would add another to the collection. Still waiting confirmation on mintage numbers but looks like these were not sold in bullion.
  3. Nice bars received from @katyc. Add to the collection of paperweights
  4. Strange decision to cancel a series mid flow. By the sounds of the emails, a bean counter has decided this series is not making money. Certainly not anyone with a numismatic bone on their bodies. I don't have any of the series so no specific axe to grind but having collected other series, feel everyone's pain. Surely doesn't help that they offer so many variations on each coin when the appeal is probably limited to those who have been collecting from the start. a 21 coin series is very difficult to maintain interest in when you have so many variations to consider. These coins will still have a value and potentially good news that they haven't sold very many but feel for those heavily invested
  5. He didn't have but has now he's started using it....... reverse....... OK I'm off 🙃
  6. Some further releases in the series. Bullion versions of the Arthur coin. Silver bullion and a 24k gilded silver coin. Detail on these is excellent and the quality is great.
  7. Still on the look out for Gold Standard Coins. Preferably any years other than 2020 but happy to look at whatever anyone is looking to move on. Thanks TSF
  8. Could have been BS of course but who knows 🙄 More than likely. Never expected to write Royal Mint and Best value in the same sentence 🤣
  9. Speaking to the guy I bought form, his came from the Mint in a set of Best Value 1 OZ coins.
  10. Likewise! Missed out on the 1/10th but have all of the others so hopefully they stay as one offs 😏
  11. Just out of interest, does it list the other denominations as well? 1/2 Oz was a new one for 2022
  12. Numista doesn't have mintages for any of the Gold Standard coins even the 2020 which seems fairly common in bullion. Yes I couldn't find much info on them other than the US sites. Maybe they all went overseas??
  13. Remember the trail piece auction but don't recall them being on sale anywhere. Numista lists them all as 100? this one was listed for sale on fleabay so did a deal with the seller, checked it over and collected it
  14. Thanks @paulmerton. Haven't seen many of any of the denominations for 2023 come up for sale as think they made the full set 1/10th to 1 Oz
  15. Also managed to locate a 2023 1 OZ Gold Standard. Haven't seen too many of these so not sure on mintages but maybe fairly low??
  16. Some nice bullion 1/4 OZ Gold Standard coins arrived courtesy of @johniom. Nice examples for sure
  17. Nice piece. Price and maybe location as collection maybe better than post

Agreed. Some of the fees are astronomical. All fine as a buyer if you factor them into your bids. Bizarre how people consign coins to these sales as they'll receive way under the coins value as a sale price
  19. Sorted a deal with @johniom thanks. Still room for a few others if anyone has anything nice
  20. Selection of tiny gold bars. Not sure will make a habit of getting these but close to spot so worth the effort!
  21. Looks like maybe a few proofs issued after 2020 but info a little sketchy! Interested in the 2019 and 2020. Let me know what you've got and prices. Either on here or PM fine Cheers
  22. Cheers. Yes I think you're right although some are shown for 2021 and 2023 but maybe proof only? Certainly nice coins
