Hello everyone! @ChrisSilver and I have been talking and working hard behind the scenes to bring you all an exciting new product!
As many of you may know I am a hand poured silver-er...I also love this forum!
So Chris and I have teamed up to create some hand poured Silver Forum branded 1 oz investment bars!
Photos of the prototypes are below but here is our plan and some of the specifics about the bars!
The bars will all be hand poured and hand stamped by me! They will be stamped with their weight, the Silver Forum logo and 2017. On the side of the bars they will be stamped with their serial number. No.01, No.02 etc.
They will also all be hallmarked by the Edinburgh assay office - regardless of their end destination - (international sales would not normally require a hallmark). The hallmark will be on the opposite side of the serial number and will have three punches, my makers mark, the purity (999) and the Edinburgh Assay Office mark (a castle).
As well as the hallmark each piece will come with a Backyard Bullion & The Silver Forum COA and will be supplied in a blue jewellery pouch!
They will all be made using 999 fine silver and will all weigh at least 1ozt - guaranteed. Pouring silver is not an exact science so some bars may be a few grams over 1 oz - but none will be less than 1 oz Troy. 
Our intention is for these bars to be something for "The Silver Forum" to have as our own. The UK Stackers Facebook group have their Mythical Creatures rounds so I figured this was something we could do which is unique and different! It is also a great way for me to build my brand (Backyard Bullion) within the community and also to help promote The Silver Forum too! We want the bars to be exclusively available to The Silver Forum members, standard, premium and gold members inclusive! These bars will be promoted via my Youtube videos but if people want to buy them then they will have to join the silver forum!
Our pricing structure will be as follows:-
Standard member price: £25 per bar + postage
Premium member price: £22.50 per bar + postage
Gold Premium member price: £20 per bar + postage
Additional discounts are available for multiple purchases and free postage (in the UK) will be offered if you buy more than 1 bar!
So the purpose of this thread is to find out from everyone your level of interest so that we can plan how many to make. 
Each bar will have a serial number on so if you are interested in a specific serial number then comment here too - it will be first come first served though!
Estimated delivery dates will be some time in June.

Completed the 1 ounce Pamp Suisse Metal Family today.  Received the 1 ounce Rhodium, Platinum, and Palladium.  Waiting on Pamp to release a 1 ounce copper.  Sure the premium on those will be $$.  Enjoy

My name is Dan and I have worked for Bleyer since July 2014, I will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have about our company but here is a little bit of information for anyone who might be interested in finding out a bit more about us.
Bleyer is a small family run business based in North Devon, we were established in 2009 primarily to serve local clients in the surrounding areas who prefer to deal in person rather than online with the large faceless companies in Birmingham/ London.
Bleyer currently has just 4 employees, the reason you won't find our accounts online is because we are no longer established as a LLP, this was before my time at the company but to my understanding one of the partners left to pursue other ventures. We have a good reputation with our clients (We wouldn't have been in business for 7 years if we didn't!) and are more than happy to provide references or allow you speak to with our accountants by request if you feel you would like to do so before dealing with us.
If you are interested in testing our online service at some point in the future then we highly recommend keeping an eye on our special offers section as we buy and sell pre-owned bullion which can be a cost effective way to buy and save on precious metals, items come and go pretty quickly so it's worth checking back on a regular basis. We also run a weekly newsletter with a current events blog which is highly recommended for any precious metal investor.
Most of our business is from repeat customers and we are confident that any new customer would be satisfied with a purchase from us due to our efforts to offer outstanding personal service to each of our clients.

Yes about 70% of our business is in coins. Our website is our store front, unless stated otherwise the coins will always be in new condition straight from mint tubes. The condition of pre-owned seems to vary but most people take good care of their metal, we always try to provide pictures and comments regarding condition on our second hand item listings where possible. 
One of the limitations of being a smaller company is that we won't have the in house stock of our larger competitors but can generally order in anything we don't have within a day or two. Pre-owned stock moves fast so be sure to bookmark our special offers section. We are more than happy to meet with you by appointment, just give us a ring a couple of days before so you can check what we have in stock.
