You can but honestly (with gold) there's no need, it will put people off and I've never seen gold undersell on here.
State condition accurately and honestly, clear pictures, but you will likely have to offer to post first to established buyers ( nothing personal, but as a new member it's for safety reasons) just make sure to read prospective bidders feedback carefully.
Bit like eBay with ratings then. I'll have a look tomorrow morning cheers.

Best way to sell would likely be on here ( maybe even do an auction and let the true market value show)
I'll have a look at it tomorrow if I can get 5 minutes without the kids effecting my limited attention span. Can you do a reserve price on an auction?

Without box and COA, the 1980 isn't worth a lot over bullion, for the 80's that's by far the most common with 82-84 having a fraction of the mintage
The other looks to be a 93? That's much more desirable as I think that only has about a 5k mintage maybe even a bit less. Loose I would say £240, boxed with COA north of that up to about £300 on a good day
It's 1995 the blurry one. Ah right so if they have their boxes (they do, ones got a card as well) they are more valuable?

I'd upload some pictures on here when you can.
Pretty sure someone will have an idea on the watch as it will be hallmarked.
Will do I'll pop over at some point this week, thanks for the help guys.

1968 £385 possibly
1911 £380
The 2 x halves about £190 each
All depending on condition obviously.
The pocket watch, will go two ways ( maker and gold content) or just gold content if maker isn't known/popular ( ii don't know enough about them to comment on value unfortunately)
Thanks, I'm not sure what condition they are in just been in a box for decades. I've no idea on the watch finding anyone who knows locally seems impossible, I'll do some more digging.

Welcome aboard.
Best place to sell is on here, some years obviously are worth more than others due to mintage/rarity etc, condition will play a role too.
Some pictures would help, so in the meantime I'm going to assume just generic bullion sovereigns.
Full £375 upwards
1/2 £190 ish
Cheers I'll have to get them from my mothers, and I'll get some pictures of them. The full are 1968 & 1911 and halves are 1980 & 1995. I have a gold pocket watch I need to get valued as I'm not sure if it's worth much as the watch or for just told value. My mother pointed out I had them as I've got some work to do on the house and could do with the extra funds, builders prices have escalated faster than most other things recently.

Hi I've wandered across this place whilst looking to get a value on a couple of full and a couple of half sovereigns, no idea where is the best place to sell them any advice welcome. Do specific years make much difference, I've seen a few businesses just give a flat price for any year?
Fresh new newb.
