No idea who PW is but Wright and Craighead watches seem to come up regularly in auction (Christies and Bonhams), so it could be worth more as a watch.

Edit: After having another look, it looks like the 'h' is plain not gothic so that would make it 1903.

 

Thanks that's helpful maybe need to see if an auction place can give me an idea.

State condition accurately and honestly, clear pictures, but you will likely have to offer to post first to established buyers ( nothing personal, but as a new member it's for safety reasons) just make sure to read prospective bidders feedback carefully.

Cheers for the help guys, I'll have to figure out how I go about selling them. Not sure what to do with the watch, scrap it's probably worth a bit just wonder as it's in decent condition and working it maybe worth more as a watch.

Yeah that one seems to have had a rough time think the other was in much better shape. They were stored in tissue in a box.

The other looks to be a 93?  That's much more desirable as I think that only has about a 5k mintage maybe even a bit less.  Loose I would say £240, boxed with COA north of that up to about £300 on a good day

The pocket watch, will go two ways ( maker and gold content) or just gold content if maker isn't known/popular ( ii don't know enough about them to comment on value unfortunately)

Thanks, I'm not sure what condition they are in just been in a box for decades. I've no idea on the watch finding anyone who knows locally seems impossible, I'll do some more digging.

Cheers I'll have to get them from my mothers, and I'll get some pictures of them.  The full are 1968 & 1911 and halves are 1980 & 1995. I have a gold pocket watch I need to get valued as I'm not sure if it's worth much as the watch or for just told value. My mother pointed out I had them as I've got some work to do on the house and could do with the extra funds, builders prices have escalated faster than most other things recently. 

Hi I've wandered across this place whilst looking to get a value on a couple of full and a couple of half sovereigns, no idea where is the best place to sell them any advice welcome. Do specific years make much difference, I've seen a few businesses just give a flat price for any year?
