  2. Apologies in advance if this isn't the appropriate subforum to start this topic. As per the title, I'm in need of advice... on sending gold bullion to Germany from the UK. I purchased a small gold coin from a reputable German bullion dealer but unfortunately it is damaged, however they have offered me an exchange - problem is I don't know how to legally send a gold coin to Germany. It's a 0.5g Mini Roo so it isn't worth that much but it's a gift for someone so I don't really want to send the coin uninsured. I tried to send it via the Post Office today but they said that both Royal Mail and Parcelforce prohibit the sending of "Money" - the coin is legal tender in Australia. Thanks in advance, and any help regarding this is greatly appreciated!
