  1. Why does Charles look like a cross hybrid of uncle fester from the Addams family and grandpa from the Munsters on the latest Aussie coins ??
  2. I've had a few vindaloos like that over the years. They make you walk like John Wayne the morning after
  3. https://www.thecoinconnection.co.uk/product/2023-great-engravers-pistrucci-2oz-200-gold-proof-coin/ Coin connection have a 2oz gold showing as available/in stock if anyone feeling flush £££ pretty much RRP of launch £5545
  4. @James32 can you provide a concrete alibi to account for your whereabouts?

    Boring question

My loose best price sovereigns are in a vitamin C tube at the front of the safe deposit box Plastic NGC PF70 coffins take up too much safe deposit real estate for my liking so only big bits are allowed in mine, five sov or 2oz gold
  6. To save me reading a few pages back here. Should I be posting moon or booing GIFs today ??
  7. Bought a sovereign while in town in Newcastle last Friday. Buy something gold every month / six weeks as and when finances allow. Buy little and often. Don't fret the price. Not arsed about buying dips and timing the market. Just convert spare fiat to more gold grams as and when I can afford something
  8. 32nd of Octember Wonger reliably informed me
  9. The one song you can all remember the lyrics to
  10. Only a matter of time until we are at $400oz as oracle wonger predicted it would
  11. Who remembers the days when gold was £1950 ? Happy memories 🥳
  12. I think it'll be especially appealing in gold Not sure how this release will perform personally, my gut feel is saying it will be a bit of a damp squib. But i could be proved wrong
  13. Little and often. Builds your core stack. My "best value" gold bought in the good old +3% over spot from HGM has nicely doubled and a bit on top, also some lovely always reasonable purchases from @arshimo2012 here on the forum in the early days. Good foundations always make for solid decisions As i learn, I'm now " quality over quantity " pf70 coffins of big gold 5sov or 2oz gold Hopefully 3-4 large perfect purchases a year will pay dividends in my twilight years in a few decades time Some Perfect proofs are at bargain prices at the moment. My last £5 five sov memorial sovereign pf70 for £3000 Less than RRP ! These are totally stunning I'll add it with the others and worry about the current dip in a 25years time
  14. I see it as a very reasonable price for peace to sleep soundly at night, knowing that someone else will be the end of a sawn off or machete if the fecal matter ever hit the rotary oscillator I also have a back up pen drives of data/photos, crypto cold storage long term wallet, a few personal bits. A deposit box is good value IMO Who always feels a little bit Bond or Jason Bourne when they visit their stack behind closed doors ?
  15. Me to Matches mine
  16. There's a safe deposit locker box visible in OP so it's well protected behind vault doors I assume
  17. I M A Stacker Graded 6 vault Safe deposit street Locked up 🔐 NE1 4FU
  18. Pennsylvania's Republic First - USA The "first" USA bank of 2024 to go "breasts up" ironically
  19. Well Done ! 1kg is a nice milestone to achieve Aside, myself as a bit of a Dull Mans Club OCD freak who likes logic, order, tidiness, familiarity, minimalism and clutter free life, i much approve your arrangement and storage method. Maximising safe deposit real estate space, is all the more pleasing so you don't over pay for a larger safe deposit locker you don't need
