  1. To add, ive got the amount of pure gold that i planned for this year so from now on in untill December should be bonus. But had the double in the back of my mind for weeks. I (looking back now) should have held onto the money i bought the sovereign with. Then next week or the week after id have been ready to go.
  2. Its £47+post if i trade it back into bbp today. Not getting credit, a lesson learnt by my ex many years ago. Job change etc? I have a job that pays well and i get overtime a couple of times a month that suits me and my employer. Its hard not to over reach when stacking. Its almost a wierd addiction. I think im goin to have to hang on a few weeks and see how the land lays.
  3. As per title. Its going to be a while, maybe 6 weeks ish before i can afford one. Worried about missing out on one. So my 2 plans are get my head down and save or trade back in my 22 soveriegn (losing about £40 on the deal) and getting the double in half the time. The normal sovereign are plentiful and the double not so much. Im not a rich man but have a mild addiction to stacking so not sure what way to go with this. Save for double or sell sov, buy double and get another sov at a later date? Rich
  4. From Panda6pack. Pictures dont do it justice.
  5. Beautiful 😎 One of these is next on my list. Need to start saving now.
  6. Hands up, i bought a sovereign from BBP on the day of the queens passing. But that was the last gold i wanted by the end of the year. Thinking prices would go up or would struggle to get one. So any more Gold i can afford to buy this year is a plus to my stash. I'll be able to offset the cost by selling the massive amount of pasta and toilet rolls i bought a few years ago and haven't used yet.
  7. @DrDave Thanks👍 Recieved these 2020s today. Scratch itched. Must resist any more coins for now as im off to Goodwood Revival on friday and need some spending money for that.
  8. Been looking at buying this Sovereign for some time and planned to buy one by the end of the year. But after recent events i thought id pull my finger out and get it before (or incase) prices went up of became harder to get hold of. Sorry about the c**p pix, my phone isn't the best.
  9. No, not at all. But it became more obvious to those not into politics.
  10. I think the postman that comes to mine must still be on strike. Waiting waiting waiting.......

    1 or 2 Sovereigns?

It made sense 😁. But I'll be buying one in a couple of weeks. I dont work on Tuesdays so will be ringing my bank to find out when my mortgage comes up for renewal. Then EON to see when my gas n leccy contract expires. That'll let me know if/when i can get no2.

    1 or 2 Sovereigns?

Im happy to take a (low) risk once in a while but it doesn't jump out that one way is better than the other in this case.

    1 or 2 Sovereigns?

Thanks for your input everyone. It seems pretty 50/50 as to what way to go. Ill probably go for 2 single sovereigns. One soon and one later. Then if later, the whole crisis that is going on catches me up at least ive got the one. Im punching above my weight buying any gold generally so have to be careful incase anything pops up all of a sudden. In normal times id take the risk. But as there isnt much in 2 singles or 1 double, I'll take the safe option. Thanks again everyone 👍

    1 or 2 Sovereigns?

Sorry to be so blunt with this question but... What would be the best way to go investment wise for the future here? 2x 2022 Sovereigns or 1x 2022 £2 double sovereign? Thanks in advance
  15. The local one to me has got a fake Breitling for sale. Certainly wouldn't be spending money on PMs in there.
