Looks like it also depends on the size of the coin. Quick googling returns this:

How much force is needed to die strike a silver coin?

I saw a custom hammered die set up made for a 1.25 coin.
I asked about having one made for a coin 1.75 inches but, was told I would need around 160 tons of force to get a good image rendering.
That seems like a lot considering it is only a 1/2 inch difference.
A machinist told me it can be done with much less. Maybe around 30 tons.

I just used that image as an example. I want to use silver. In many videos like this one Molds.

It shows molds that have the artwork already in it which would make them perfectly round.

I want the edges to look like an old pirate coin like the image I posted.

How are those designs put on? Is it pressed on? hammered?

I know it is poured and stamped but, what is necessary?
What kind of die? Do I need a press, or can I hammer it?
I would like to make 1/2 oz to 1 oz silver coins.

Why do people not buy silver grain instead of rounds? Rounds are usually sold much higher than spot price. If you have a reputable dealer of which there are many online why not buy grain and melt into bars yourself?

Also, would the rounds I attached be cast or stamped? I would like to make something that looks like those old pirate coins/doubloons.

    Thank you

LOL not sure brain is the right word. I muddle through 🤣 I was Lucky to have some good friends all ready in the industry. I also used instagram and made some amazing contacts through there for advice and genral questions. The silver community is amazing and people are more than happy to help with knowledge with no financial incentive to them selves.  You tube is an amazing source of info as well.. The USA cost is different to the uk costs as over there items are more readily available. My stamps for instant I have to have made over the pond so vat and postage adds up on the items I need. silver is cheaper over there also.. The costs on Minting machines even small ones are mega no matter where you are.
