A daft question. Based on uk gold coins.. Am I correct in saying you get TWO x 10oz proof coins for 1580? That doesn't seem too bad a price on the face of it, considering they will be graded 70. Any thoughts ?

I don't. It has to be financially related you would imagine. I can only guess they feel they have more chance of a sellout on the first tranche and the arguably more desirable second tranche may do well anyway. At least in this instance they have made it "clear" that's what's going to happen.

What a bizarre mistake. It seems they deliberately sent an email with a date and time. Perhaps they decided to quality check the coins and realised they need to re mint or something.

For me it's a pretty high end burglar, targeting people who might use such a device. In my mind, the average burglar is an opportunist looking for a quick haul.

I love the design of this coin. The bigger the better for this one IMO. 1oz versions don't do it justice. As much as I don't like the timed releases etc, I would buy this coin in an instant given half a chance. Depending on the price of course, but it seems like it's going to be priced normally.
