    The Star Wars films and the characters from them are wildly popular. The film that started it all, Star Wars: A New Hope is the subject of the silver foil note set offered here. These 5 g silver foil notes were struck by the New Zealand Mint and issued by Niue. There are 6 notes in the set. Each one is limited to a mintage of 50,000 pieces.
    These striking 5g pure silver coin note in the Star Wars: A New Hope Collection feature collaged images from the movie along with the movie’s logo and the Rebel Alliance starbird.
    A Star Wars Collector's Album is included with purchase. Inside a protective cover, this hardcover album includes a page for each of the six coin notes in the collection which will include Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo & Chewbacca, Princess Leia Organa, Darth Vader, and R2-D2 & C-3PO. The album is Star Wars themed, with each page designed to complement the corresponding note - including a brief summary of the character's contribution to the film.
    The combination of engraving and colour printing creates an interesting dimension to the note. The unique number in the mintage is also printed on to the note.
The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and is legal tender in Niue.
    This single silver coin note is delivered inside a protective sleeve which includes details of the note's authenticity.

Please see photos as these are the actual pieces. The foil sleeves are all glued shut. Plastic cover are all present and are now 5 years old so hazy. The foils are as vibrant a ever (I've shown Luke Skywalker out of the plastic but not the sleeve).

Notes:
Action End - If I am not able to be present at closing, I will select the winner as the person closest to the minute of the End Time without going over. 
                      If I am present, the auction will have a soft close, meaning I will make three final calls around the end time.
If the call is interrupted, I will start with three more final calls. This will go until no one else bids and 
                      the "hammer" drops by my writing "SOLD".
Increments: If a bid does not meet the £3 minimum raise, it will be invalid and the previous bid will be the current high bid. 
Payment Due: Payment will be due immediately after the auctions closes. Please be present at the time of closing. 
If this is not possible, arrangements need to be made asap.
