Hello, I have a couple of spoons that seem to be silver (according to home made tests), however they are unmarked. The only inscription is in the bowl.of the spoon and is this: either 000 or OOO or three circles… have any of you encountered this mark? or does anyone know what this stands for, if there is any info about it. I have been breaking my brain searching about it online but haven’t found anything.
Thank you!

Well photographs of the spoons showing the mark and photos of the whole spoons would be helpful.

It is unlikely that these spoons would be silver - a maker isn't going to sell what are basically unmarked silver spoons - it doesn't make commercial sense. In addition most jurisdictions, at least in Europe require some sort of mark for silver of this sort.

Sorry, I couldn't add them in the initial post. I was thinking maybe someone saw these marks before, whatever they are... Thank you!

Hi! What tests did you perform?

These look somewhat like pewter, but it's difficult to make a judgement from the photos. Silver will have a hallmark usually, failing that you would expect there to be a makers mark and/or a stamp such as '925'.

These look like the could be 'apprentice' pieces or even home-made.
The stem looks cast but the bowl doesn't, and then they've been soldered together (badly).
As to the mark - I've no idea, sorry.
