Best place to sell

I'm a newbie to selling, can any one recommend the best place to sell gold coins, should I do it privately (is it safe, I.e funny money) or are a billion dealers the better option. Atkinsons seem to offer the best value atm. 

Not looking to make a profit, just wanna convert my coins to cgt free ones.

Atkinsons 99-100% of spot on most gold currently, Hatton Garden Metals have a trade counter you can walk in with coins and out with cash. they pay a tad less at 98% spot

Stuff sells on here from just under spot to the Hatton Garden Metals +3% over spot selling price.  Anythings over HGM +3% prices most will just go to an established dealer

You might find it a hard sell on here as you're a bit of a newbie - not a dig, just being honest. However, there are a good few folk here in or around london so i guess a face to to face meet could be possible
