The successful 4-Layer Series continues with an iconic building: the home of the United States Congress – the United States Capitol on 100 g pure Silver with antique finish! With a detailed three-dimensional effect based on the four layers of the design, the coin shows astonishing details! The worldwide mintage is limited to only 999 pieces.

The traditional obverse of a Samoa coin features the effigy of Her Majesty Elizabeth II and the country’s coat of arms. The inscriptions include the coin’s weight, metal fineness, issuing country and year.

The coin impresses with its numerous engraved details on the antique finish surface. Thanks to the famous 4-layer minting technique, the deep concave reverse has been created - a superb 3D representation of the inside of the Capitol dome. The U.S. Capitol’s dome made of cast iron was designed by Thomas U. Walter and constructed from 1855-1866. Finished at the total cost of $1,047,291, the Capitol Dome was constructed with 8,909,200 pounds of ironwork bolted together in a masterpiece of American will and ingenuity.
