Warning: Unsolicited Private Messages

A member has been found to be sending unsolicited private messages to other members asking them to download some precious metals related software. Sending unsolicited private messages to advertise products or services is against forum rules, as it is spam and I am sure that members do not want to be sent spam. 

1. For member’s safely please do not download any software that someone messages you and asks you to download. Though this may be a genuine project someone is working on we want everyone to be aware of the dangerous of downloading software. This software could contain malware, viruses, trojans or other harmful software that is dangerous to your computer and your identity.

2. The member found sending such emails has been given the benefit of doubt and given a final warning and asked to upgrade their membership if they wish for their account to remain active. Should they send unsolicited private messages again their account will be permanently closed.

3. Please use the report feature (3 dots and then report) to report any unsolicited private messages / spam from companies trying to advertise their products or services. As we do not wish for members to receive spam messages and will stop this from happening.
