I Spent $100,000 On A Stock Picking Monkey

Recommended Posts

Thanks - fun to watch and kind of makes a mockery of paying high commissions and annual fees to financial advisors if it goes well.
However picking 10 random stocks from the top 1,000 will mirror the index to a degree on the law of averages considering they make up part of the index.
Having said that the "experts" are supposed to see "opportunities" ahead of the rest of us but once they cream off their fees on each trade plus a management fee a significant proportion of your gains are eroded and when losing this amount, compounded our the years, it soon adds up to a substantial figure.
