Import tax on silver from the USA to Europe

Hello, I am planning a short trip to the USA soon, as I allways do I will be bringing back some electronics (for resale purposes, just to cover the cost of the ticket). For a long time I wanted to start hoarding silver to escape from the inflation and since silver is so much cheaper in the states it would be a great moment to buy some, and here goes the question, how much silver can I bring back, and do I have to pay taxes on customs? I never paid taxes on electronics as claimed ''personal use'' but bringing 20 kg of silver in bars or coins is another level.

Have searched all over google and found a lot of answers regarding gold but not any single one about silver.

As you live in Poland I think there are the same rules for you as EU citizen. If flying from outside the EU, you can bring up to 430 Euro worth of products back to the EU without paying tax/customs. For gold coins most of them are exempt from VAT/customs if certain criteria are met, especially if listed here EU VAT Exempt Investment Gold for 2020. Be aware you have in total a limit of 10,000 Euro, otherwise you have to report it if over 10,000 Euro. I would not recommend to bring 20kg of silver back. There are dealers from Estonia without tax on silver as well, e.g. Europeanmint.com
