That's because those people are morally self-righteous and they think they know what's best for everyone else. They think they know pretty much everything. They also like to control people, but will throw a fit if they think you're in any way trying to control them or tell them what to do. Ironically, they are extremely ignorant and morally bankrupt themselves.
