Gold Birmingham hallmark H&S plus extra date letter

I wonder if anyone can help, I’ve been trying for years to decipher the hallmark on a gold ring of mine. I know that assay office = Birmingham, it’s 18ct and the manufacturer is H&S (can’t find who that was) but there appears to be two date letters. The first is O or Q (the bottom is worn off) and indicates it was made circa 1860 but then to the right there is another letter (D) followed by the numbers 304, 3 slightly larger and finer than the 04. I’ve attached the best photo I could get to see if anyone knows what these extra marks mean. Thank you!

The hand done numbers I have seen before and were sometimes done by jeweller when a piece of jeweller was sold to identify where it was sold from or who a customer was, or if a customer brought it in for repair or if wanted to porn it,  the D date looks like 1852, its possible that its hallmark was applied uneven making the date hard to see so it was re-assayed, but the O or Q date are newer so that wouldn't make sense, if you can get a better picture of the H&S I will see if I can find the maker.
