Premiums on gold jewelry

Hello all – What are the typical premiums on gold jewelry? I mean on simple items that have no stones: chains, necklaces, rings, bracelets, etc.

When I've looked at jewelry online it's surprisingly hard to find items where their exact weight is listed. I suspect the premiums are quite large.

Has anyone invested in jewelry as well as bullion? How did it go?
