Aluminium coin case

Lidl have got aluminium coin cases on offer currently for £11 if any is interested. They come with five inserts of various sizes however you can buy extra from ebay for the size you need.

I have recently took delivery of various coins. One thing I have noticed is the ping/ring test on Noah's, Somalia Elephants, and phillies seam poor, especially compared to the thinner American Eagle/ Mex Liber. Is this usual? Also noted these coins appear whiter, more opaque in shade.

Also set the callipers onto my delivery. The vast majority of the coins closely matched the dimension listed on STG. There were a few notable exceptions.

2015 1kg Koala. Thickness- 14.6. My measurement 13.1 (weight is good)

2015 2oz lunar goat PM Thickness 3.6' my measurement 2.75

2014 1oz saltwater croc. Thickness 4 , my measurement 2.7mm

The callipers are not the most expensive but appeared to be accurate on 15 other different coins. With the koala, the callipers do not reach the middle of the coin, not sure if the middle is the highest point. All were purchased from STG so assuming there is not an issue, any thoughts?
