Best site for 1oz silver bars?

The best value i can find as close to spot seems to be on http://www.sarniasilver.com/ but not too keen on the 20% vat

Are you collecting bars or stacking?  If collecting (1 of each), then they do work out quite expensive with the VAT and no bulk discount.

If you're stacking, then £14 or so delivered is the best you'll find but that's on 40+ from Atkinson's.  Even from Germany they're about the same price because VAT is applied to bars within all of the EU.

 

Coins from Germany would be a cheaper option for purely stacking.

Tough one. Plenty of bars about but nobody seems to stock a particularly wide range so you risk shopping around and getting hit with lots of postage if you want any sort of variety. Atkinsons mix/match is worth a shot if you are happy to buy 5 at a time; the generic JM and Sunshine Mint stuff is not to expensive, and they have PAMP 1oz'ers if thats your thing. Bullion Centre do a mixed "best value" lot of 1oz bars which could end up with a nice mix, but I don't think you can specify what you get; you could end up with 5 all the same.

Im stacking mate. been buying coins galore from STG. haven't really got the budget to be buying 40+ at the mo tbh lol, thanks for the info anyway pal
