Tel Aviv shops

When will you be there? I am in the country throughout much of the first half of March...

There is an outlet of the Israel Mint (formerly Israel Coins and Medals Corporation) at 42 Ben Yehuda Str. (see: israelmint.com/israelmint-branches/)

They only sell their own PM stuff, nothing too close to spot. I haven't bought from them in decades but things look nice and shiny :)

Note, however, that all purchases come with VAT. You can get it refunded when you leave the country but it may be a hassle.

Otherwise there are some tiny coin shops (without much PM beyond patina-ed Israeli silver commemorative coins) which I found so boring that I even forgot the locations. Sorry.

Just arrived. I found a nice shop in Jerusalem but only selling commemorative with high premiums. Not my focus at the moment, although some were really  beautiful.

Looking mainly for older medals,  precious metals or not . As for bullion I'm not very optimistic but if there is VAT return, I may get something.

The shop you mentioned is run by the mint. Nice coins but everything too expensive. An older coin they were selling for 100€ I can find it in eBay for less than half. I went to a small shop down the same road and found two medals I wanted. Below is the best one, bronze gold plated, 60 cm encased in a plexiglass(not sure exactly) at a very reasonable price.
