Libertad Reverse Proof 2018 coins are issued...

To be frank these sets are no official ones from Banco de Mexico but a private issue from MNI (Modern Numismatics International). So while the price and the design is fairly good I personally won't buy it since it's nothing official really.

PS: Banxico also told me we can expect gold reverse proof coins later this month. Not sure which dealer will distribute them, though. Might well be that they will only be available within Mexico. We'll see.

I contacted one of my insiders today in the hope that he might be selling the gold reverse proofs (he always had the silver reverse proofs on offer). He seems to be unaware of gold reverse proof coins as of now but will revise "his environment". Meanwhile he told me to expect an official "Antique Finish Set" (1 oz, 2 oz, 5 oz) which I have no information about. Even the Banxico has not mentioned any antique finish mintage figures this year so this is somewhat surprising.

More info soon.
