i certainly didn't think this release today would have been such a quick sell out
It's just the royal mint tactics... Make it look like they are the last few, then people rush to buy them.. But in the end, Royal Mint lands up having many cancelled or returned orders.

That's an amazing blunder. You'd have thought that one coloured coin would really stand out in a set that isn't meant to contain it!
Yes, but it's almost the same colour as gold painting on silver coins.. Some on Ebay with coloured coins... If unique, wonder if they will be rare collectibles???!!!

1 Oz proof is £2770... Wow, more than 1k above the spot price 🫨

What sort of confusion?
Some sets has coloured, some non coloured

Anyone received the silver proof set with non-coloured RNLI coins? Apparently there was some confusion in some sets.

Not in silver. I did conjecture that the annual sets might be the only way to buy certain coins without colour, as there wouldn't be a compelling reason to buy the individual releases otherwise.
Might be they will release one at a later date because a simple silver proof coin is the standard for any releases

This is coming out soon.
No, not another coin!! Just bought SOTD of 75th Birthday this week and a definitive set 2 weeks back.... Can't afford another coin, although it seems very interesting

In my opinion, in Proof coins, COA is worth a lot. Most people (including me) can't differentiate a proof from bullion unless different design, so the COA and original box matters a lot to verify it's authenticity.

344 of the sovereign left, and the 1/40oz is limited until the end of the year if I've read that right. I don't think there is a montage limit on it
So still approx 50%left of sotd left.... 1/40oz I thought was limited to 2023 coins

Yep. Still waiting for my 2oz Coronation proof. Complained to the RM about the fact they're minting new ranges of proof coins before minting these ones but had no response.
I'm still waiting 2oz silver... Everytime I call, they say its getting minted this week, will be dispatched early next week... And weeks have passed, no coin still

Oh ok... Looks like the quarter ounce Proof as well... These any good or too tiny?
