I always video all packages and multiple photos before sending anything out. Done everything by the book with eBay rules. Special delivery and a genuine address. I can see the address on the other parcels (photo above) match the same name and address that I posted to. I have blocked this out for obvious reasons. My point is ebay Will hold money for 8wks and simply rip money out of your bank. Knowing very well you have been scammed. update below On the day the dispute opened, I cancelled multiple orders with different customers that were placed on the day of the dispute opening. This is because I didn’t want eBay holding my money for upto 8wks for sales that had nothing to do with the dispute. Yesterday, ebay took the cancellation amount out of my bank even though they never paid me for these sales. So I am now also a few more hundred pounds down from these sales. Today, I have a email from eBay saying. “We have stopped a sale because we are concerned of the buyer of a sale” Do not post item..and so on. Guess what…. It’s the sale that the dispute is over that sold nearly a month ago…. I have spoken to eBay and said that things should go in my favour but also said there’s no GUARANTEE it will.. I will be contacting my bank and reporting a fraudulent transaction just in case.

To cut a long story short… I sold a batch of gram gold bars on eBay a few weeks ago. The buyer has never contacted me to return the bars and after 14 days of the delivery date, I received an email from eBay to say the buyer has opened up a dispute case under.. Buyer doesn’t recognise the transaction! The situation I am in now is I owe the seller nearly £500 (if I lose the case ). I have taken all sales down now because I’m sure eBay will hold payments to me until they bank the amount I may have to pay out.(not sure) The dispute case takes between 2 to 8 weeks… I have not received any of the 1g bars back and will be out of pocket both ways if eBay side with him. I have sent eBay proof of delivery and this is where I think it gets pretty strange.. My package on the Royal Mail photo proof is hidden under another package and looks to me the photo was taken in a front room, on the arm of a chair. I have never had a postie come in my house to take photos of packages, this is usually taken place on the doorstep. Just be warned.. eBay have control of your 💰 if you come across a tosser 😂

So far the information I have found is..it could be a ‘RPM’ which is a Repunched Mint Mark. Mint marks were applied separately and before the blanks were struck with the coin die. This is why the mint mark has a double and the lettering elsewhere seems fine. After 1989 the mint marks were on the coin dies. https://www.error-ref.com/repunched-mintmark/
