Another old bar. i am still researching this bar, many old refiners are no more and difficult to find much about.
 

A nice old Engelhard cast bar. The style and italicised font of the Engelhard hallmark denotes an Australian bar. This 1kg silver bar was made at the Thomastown refinery, Victoria, Australia. The bar must predate 1988 as this is when Deak took over the refinery.
