  1. 70x 90% silver Roosevelt dimes received last week. Thanks go to @arphethean
  2. They look fabulous! I've graded modern double sovereigns (not proof) in case I will ever sell them. Graded = more trust = premium on top. Depends on what your plans are I suppose.
  3. Now my oldest sovereign in the collection. Figured if there is ever a gold confiscation, chances are that rare 19th century coins might be exempt. Similar to what Lynette Zang from ITM Trading posted here on the US gold confiscation and which coins were exempt: https://www.itmtrading.com/blog/gold-laws-revealed-what-you-didnt-know-about-gold-laws-by-lynette-zang/
  4. Double sovereign for my retirement stack just arrived. Thanks go to @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer
  5. A little something for the retirement stack. Another 27 years to go
  6. Not really a fan of Niue coins but the design quality keeps getting bigger. I really like this one!
  7. Back from NGC. Happy about the 70. Not so much with the 69. That's now 5 coins from the Perth opal series that came back a 69 even though I asked for cleaning. But was told that half the time if they would see a tiny piece of dirt, etc. they would just grade it 69 without offering cleaning. So all my 69s will go to Pcgs and probably all my coins going forward.
  8. Thanks go to @Scaffstacker for another tube of 55 Roosevelt dimes.
  9. In love with my new 10oz James Bond silver bar. Also like the mintage: only 6,000!
  10. 1 tube of Mercury dimes and 20 Roosevelt dimes. Thanks go to @arphethean and @Scaffstacker
  11. Stacking makes me sleep good at night Another tube of 25 Britannias. Thanks go to @silversky
  12. I don't view gold as an investment such as a stock where you want to buy low and sell high. Gold is an insurance against governments printing too much money so they can spend it on wars, the pharma industry, etc. all the while eroding the value/ purchasing power of the money in my account I worked hard for. This is a good video on gold by EB Tucker (have read his book, can highly recommend it)
  13. And just received another 2022 sovereign from Atkinsons Bullion. Don't trust the FED and other central banks that they will increase rates significantly in the near future. If they would, the stock market would take a nose-dive and Powell, Pelosi and others are heavily invested in the stock market. Can't go wrong with gold
  14. Something a bit different. Was a popular TV show so these go to PCGS as they are "first strike" eligible and I'll check back in 5-10 years if it was a good investment
  15. Sending this beauty from the opal series also to NGC. Only 5,000 mintage - sounds promising as a long-term investment.
  16. Love these low-mintage coins from the Perth Mint - hopefully this time a I get a 70 from NGC.
  17. Love them as well. Unfortunately some of these are pretty hard to come by. I only had them graded as some years, especially 2016, get a hefty premium at pf70.
  18. Only stacking bullion gets a bit boring so had these sent off to NGC.
  19. Totally agree! When I mentioned years ago to friends, family and co-workers that Venezuela's hyperinflation could also happen the Western world, I was looked upon like a lunatic. 99% of the people still don't know how to protect themselves from inflation even thought the basic info on the subject and pm is all over the web. It's gonna be a hard fall for the majority unfortunately
  20. Nothing extraordinary - but given the current economic state of the world and a somewhat poor outlook towards the value of paper money - another 25 ounces added to the stack. Thanks go to @silversky
  21. Since inflation is not "transitory" - added another sovereign to my stack.
  22. Bullion Sovereign no. 20. Enough bullion now - 2022 it's time for some more rare sovereigns. What literature would you recommend for collecting rare sovereigns? Mintages? Errors, etc? Thanks a lot!
  23. My favorite series - the Australian Opal coins. Hard to come by, but got a few this week. Plus a 1/10 oz gold Britannia from Atkinsons as an inflation hedge. The Aussie coins go to NGC.
