It'll be a third party. You can buy the chemicals to do this yourself. I must ask my dad if he's got this in his shed as he makes Tiffany lamps and uses this on the solder to alter the colour. Just rub off the excess. One way of selling on milk spotted coins by treating them with this I suppose.

The 1817 sovereign is a must for serious collectors just for the enjoyment of holding history in your hands at least.

My 1/4 oz gold year of the sheep was waiting for me when I got in from work. Had to ask my missus to wait in for it as I didn't want to miss the courier again.

Today my milk spotted 2015 Britannias arrived in the post and have cleaned up nicely. My Britannia anniversary privy and 2oz dragon arrived yesterday.
My 1/4oz gold lunar sheep is now rescheduled as I was out shopping. The courier note says the shipper does not authorise it to be left with a neighbour.

Well Lightning has struck twice on me as the other day I recieved a carded silver Britannia through the post that I never ordered?!!
Don't know if the eBay seller I bought one off previously sent it to me or Yorkshire Bullion who now sell them as well, considering Yorkshire Bullion sent me a duplicate order the other month. All a bit odd as there wasn't any note inside the envelope that was torn at one end. 
It will sit to one side until I hear from either one of them.

My Yorkshire bullion order arrived, consisting of a 2017 Koala & x 5 2oz Queens beast capsules. I did order a 2oz dragon but owed them for 2 oz's of silver. so they took the money for the dragon & made the difference up with the capsules.
The carded Britannia was from Ebay, was advertised as a 2015 but this 2016 came instead.
Are these cards supposed to be made out of actual card or should they be made out of plastic like the carded sovereigns?

My 1/4 oz Queens beast griffin arrived from the Roayl Mint today. Not a flaw on it, not even a slight scratch, unlike other coins they've sold.
Not my favourite beast so far but my first gold beast.

Today I received my Phoenix rounds with coa's. Just the next two to collect in this series.

My 2013 silver eagle proof arrived today.
I bid on another silver proof on ebay earlier today then realised it looks slightly different than this. Now I'm wondering which is the fake?
I'm hoping it's not this one!

It was a duplicate order from the one I placed last week. There seemed to be a glitch in their system that duplicated orders.
I'm wondering how many times this has happened for them to shut down their site for now. Suppose an audit will show up if it's a major problem gone unnoticed until now.

The owner returned my missed call. A really nice fella who was a bit surprised about the whole thing. I've offered to pay for them so he's not out of pocket.
He's now busy checking to see if any other orders were duplicated and was worried that maybe the case with some sovereign orders with other customers. Hopefully for him it's a one-off glitch.

Today I received my 2006 silver proof Queens' 80th birthday coin that I won on ebay for just over £16.
On top of that in the post was a package with an ASE & a 2017 silver Britannia that I never ordered.
It was addressed to me but had the wrong house number on it. When I opened it there was a receipt with order status 'complete'. Now I then compared it to my recent order receipt from the same firm that had 'processed' in the order status. Duplicate order from Yorkshire bullion!
Me being me, I've tried ringing them but no response. I'll give them another ring in the morning. I could easily say nothing but they haven't done me a bad turn & have been pretty good with my orders.

A small order arrived from Yorkshire Bullion consisting of a 2017 silver Britannia and a 2017 ASE. Nothing exciting but my stack grows just that little bit more.

My CGT exempt coins came through the post this morning

My 2013 silver Britannia from an eBay seller with free delivery arrived. With postage at £6.20 plus eBay fees, it's no wonder they charge for postage now seeing as they never made much on the sale
 

My 2 x 2014 silver Britannias arrived less than 24 hours from ordering on eBay. Bought them for £20 each and free postage. Can't see how they made any money on them as they sent it recorded next day delivery as well.
Magnet test, weight and size all ok.
 

It does have it's ups and downs especially when I want a new coin and she wants the money for a new outfit

Today my French lunar rooster finally arrived.
Can anyone shed any light on this French series as I think I've completed the series. 2006 when I think it started was BU with a mintage of 10,000. Around halfway through the series it went to proof at 10,000 mintage then dropped to 5,000 mintage at proof.
It seems like a strange way to run a series and it'll be interesting to see what they do next year.

A 2017 silver Britannia from Yorkshire bullion on eBay. Got a 1oz Asahi silver bar from them the other day as well.

Got a bullion 2016 sovereign and a 2014 Indian I mintmark half sovereign. Strained my eyes to see if the 'I' was there
