Hi everyone! I've been occasionally browsing this forum for the last few months, and I've now decided to properly join this community. My stack started last Christmas when I received a gift of two silver Britannias, although since I've only added a gold sovereign so it's still a work-in-progress. The aim is to use gold and silver as a refuge for real wealth, that is wealth that won't wither away because of inflation or be imprisoned by CBDCs. Precious metals have intrinsic value and are undeniably your own, which is why I like them. 
Anyway, I'm very happy to be here and am excited to continue exploring.

Hello.
I'm Nik and currently waiting for a first delivery of two 1oz silver bars.  I chose not to hallmark but changed my mind after researching.
I'm hoping to stack for my grandchildren and their parents protection.
A recent exchange with the Royal Mint put me off purchasing there as they do not send to a secure location (local post office), it has to be the billing address.  My letterbox isn't the most secure.

I don't have Paypal, online banking, or a smart phone, but I do have a local post office that sells postal orders and amazon vouchers, for cash.

Hi, welcome to the forum! I'm a new member and was a lurker for a while too but it's good to be amongst like minded people. I also like precious metals because they're an asset that you physically own, unlike fiat currency in a bank which can be inflated away and doesn't really belong to you, but the bank instead. Also it seems there's lots of people on here who don't want CBDCs so I'm sure you'll fit right in

I recently got into stacking silver and gold after going on a finance/investing journey over the past few years, from stocks to crypto and then to deciding I should build up a stack of some physical money. I found out about TSF from watching Backyard Bullion's Youtube channel and I'm glad to be here!
My stack is still quite small at the moment, but I intend to change that with the help of the forum and gain more knowledge about the world of precious metals along the way.
