It seems to be a franc readers token ducat comes up when you Google it there are fakes of it but there is an original that is 1754 year I think it said and 3.5g of 9.8 purity gold but there was no value listed on it ,and yeah they were the second set of pics I did say try without the flash waiting for better ones now ,cheers for your thoughts anyway Booky

Just thought I’d see if there’s any Roman coin dealers or experts to pick there brains on a coin i have had for some time that came in a job lot of coins ,it was in a little plastic wallet so who ever was collecting them back then kept it stored better than 95% of the others so it stood out like ,.after a little research the only one I can find of it seems to of sold at an auction a few years back for 16000 rand which equates to about £15000 ,but I just know I not that lucky after a life of gambling what are the chances of me hitting my jackpot with a loose coin I think ?,..it’s gota be a fake I reckon any thoughts would be appreciated cheers

I’m alright …today was a good day I paid the highest amount for an oz gold coin that I been following but It’s a weird feeling when your buying high but you know what you already got is up because of it so what the hell ,..yeah if I was a fish I be seeking out them pirate ships and Spanish armadas and nesting in the treasure ,.to be fair if the world got nuked all over it would be better for the planet 💯 % we are the plague,parasite and extincter(if that is a word),..of the planet ,to think we allowed some people to lay claim to the lands and rule us is crazy how it all got like that ,..yeah it’s selfish to think the planet needs us ..but while I’m here like il collect its metals like a human squirrel

How high can gold go from the here and now ..I’m feeling confident ,we only been in electronics for a hundred years or so ,..next big thing coming is A.I the demand for metals is never going to be so high is my thought ,know people making good living dealing Pokémon cards but fads change with the generations ,metals demand over next 1000 years will sky rocket when we are looked back on as a caveman era ,..just a bloody shame I won’t be around with my stack then ,..maybe bury it and hope to f£&k reincarnation is a real thing ,..if not human then a mole at least ,..knowing my luck il come back as a fish

Thanks for reply’s I see it has the support of the room ,.iv always used eBay as the buyer your kind of protected and I normally get put off if they ask me to do it through there bank ,and yeah I normally check out who I’m buying from as have got caught out once with a rolled gold item and not 9ct but a cheap way to learn a lesson maybe ,..that’s a good idea about a wanted notice for a coin il try that I have some money clearing in 2 weeks so before I gamble it away on the roulette I’d like to get at least a coin to fall back on one day

Hi all,..I’m new here heard of the site on a you tube video about gold and thought I’d check it out ,..seems like my kinda place just wondering how secure is it buying and selling on here ,..I been collecting gold a while now scrap then rings then pendants have a 1oz gold bar hoping to get a nice 1oz gold coin to add to the collection in a week or so if anyones thinking of selling while I’m writing like ,but are many people ripped off on here ?
