Yeah I won’t argue that case much but if Rolex is your brother then you still in good company from a quality perspective they were produced for the working man to be able to afford a good timepiece and the Tudor watches are still big sellers ,better than having casios dirty little brother ,and yeah the receipt that looks like it’s just been written out with the box and sleeve make it maybe the best conserved one around I think and hope I’m still around when 2056 comes as then at 100 years old it would be something special and yeah not asking a million just £900 to you buddy 😉,imagine your mrs face when she unwraps this classic antique to wear around the Xmas table ,..for lords sake though don’t bring up the Rolex dirty brother to her and spoil the moment !😂

Yeah they were made as a cheaper alternative to Rolex ,still a quality piece yeah I might try look into what your saying then if I get the spare time ya never know

You’re right probably it is a 1990s watch fully restored and is what omega used in the 90s is an automatic though and I think they the best movements to date

I’d love the skill to work on jewellery or watches I did try get in to the lost wax method of moulding things but never completed the process ,,..after working in construction since school grams of gold are defiantly easier than bricks and blocks

They wouldent let me list it higher than £600 because I havent sold anything for a year even though it’s scrap value is a grand yeah I regret putting it on there I just read that thing about fee on the highest bidders price as well I’m thinking get my mate to just put a bid on it that’s so high if someone bids higher it’s worth it but if he wins it we just blank it …don’t think he’d get punished hard for not paying for something once ?,..he’d be getting a few drinks off me anyway for his trouble but yeah it is the season of spending and it is a nice piece as gold goes it’s more impressive in hand than any coin
