  1. Several reasons actually. I think the major one has to be that I realized I need a better way to save money as opposed to just leaving it in the bank were it's easy to just spend on random junk I don't need. Plus I've always been interested in gold and silver and I happened upon a couple YouTube videos that convinced me to make my first move. Now you couldn't pay me to stop stacking.

  2. Those may very well be homemade pieces of flatware. Major manufacturers would have a standardized hallmark as a punch and would look more refined, symmetrical and definitive. The marks on your fork and spoon look like engraved initials. Good luck

  3. Good morning Silver Forum members, my name is Jeremy. I am relatively new to stacking/collecting having only started in the spring of 2022. I was introduced to this awesome pastime by watching several YouTube channels including BYB and 2is1. I started by purchasing a single quarter ounce American gold eagle and have since collected two ounces of fractional gold and many silver ounces including Britannias and Krugs. I am just starting and plan on continuing until the day comes that my daughter's inherent it all. I am primarily interested in fractional gold and European gold such as sovereigns and francs. Thanks for the great forum and hope to talk to you all at some point.
