i have been looking to try to add a few proof 1oz britannias to my lot, i have managed to do so with some success, albeit ltd i realise i am now looking at some of the more desirable years along with many others , i would like to knowi if anyone can steer me in the best places to look, purchase and very importantly to be able to get uk based prices. if anyone can throw any light on this for me i would be extremely gratefull for any help, i know ebay is ok for this and that but generally its people just wanting to sell , it just doesnt offer the whole package. i will await to be bombarded with peoples knowledge far greater than mine, regards arne.

Good evening all, can anyone help me with I think a minor repair to a double sovereign holder . The pin that holds the top and bottom sections together is missing so I need a new one. I knew this was missing when purchased a couple of years back just not got around to sorting it hence my call for help, this is not a fine piece but I like it and feel its history says it's to nice for the pot. any help gratefully received. Hallo all , can anyone advise me on the criteria for grading older sovereigns, I have about a dozen or so that I am considering getting done but rather than waste my and the graders time and money is there anywhere or one they can be taken for a visual once over, I am not after anything for nothing and am happy to pay. all the coins are from the p, m, s, sa, or i mints. any advice gratefully received. regards Arne.

good evening everyone my name is Arne I have recently joined the forum and made a couple of purchases with some help from members I have tried recently to purchase a reasonable quantity of silver britanias and pay by bank transfer the bank have frozen my account and the recipients which is highly embarrassing. I think it’s sorted now but wonderd if anyone else has suffered the same fate . I certainly hope not but would be interested to hear.
