Thanks for the replies guys. I am new to precious metals and my aim is a long term hold. Buying mostly sovereign and got my first last week. The gold sovereign for me was a little underwhelming. I feel the actual item is low quality. It was a 2022 royal mint sovereign. Looks like the edges are sharp and not cut with quality if that makes sense? Trust me to start buying when gold close to all time high. I meant to do the buying a few years ago. I had hoped to find a local dealer close to Cardiff but online seems to be better with the likes of Chards and other similar dealers. Gold coin no.2 will be next week .
