It is nice to have a series, anticipating the next piece. Just look at the premiums of everything you buy - you'll learn about premiums on the forums. The Myths & Legends are looking fine though, judging from the German prices.
Yeah I do, I'm not fully clued up I'm not going to lie but not everyone gets it fully the first time and even if it I have to learn through mistakes then so be it providing I learn something

If by "first piece" you mean silver, then a halfcrown, florin, shilling, sixpence, or possibly even a silver threepence. all of these were in circulation at the time, altough mainly the first four.
Some of that might sound like a foreign language to you.
Some of those coins were cupro-nickel (from 1947 onwards), but most of them were still 50% silver, and many of them still sterling (92.5% silver) (pre-1920). All available at face value in everyday change.
This was all circa 1953.
Yeah I have already had a quick look at obtaining a bit of pre 1920 as a cool little side

I like the Robin Hood but some think its a bit busy, however, you started with a series so i guess the maid marion would be a next step if you can get one at a decent price otherwise Brits are a good buy esp off the forum members atm
Yeah I like the idea of the theme ones just something different. I have been looking at the maid already I definitely think it will be my next step for sure!

Welcome to the forums 🙂
The Robin Hood is said to be nice.
My first piece was a 1/10 ounce Gold Austrian Philharmonic.
Very nice I'd love some gold but it's not viable for me at the moment cost wise

Hello Everyone,
I'm all still relatively new to this but learning fast. I have literally started this week buying silver I bought my first 1oz Silver coin, I went with the 2021 UK Robin Hood.
It's going to be a slow process for me because of my income/spare money I have but I'm excited to be a part and can't wait to start building my amounts.
If you reply I'd love to be nosey and hear what everyone's very first piece was also!
