Swaps for platinum, palladium and silver considered. £1865 AOOG 2012 Gold Libertad. The 1oz was the only denomination done that year, of which there were only 3000 minted so an exceedingly rare piece of gold. Some copper spots on the back and a slight one on the front (view photos). Also slight "layer" above the the wings, I'm guessing the solution they use the clean the coins after that causes milking silver coins. This is only shows up in the photo but curiously isn't there viewed face to face. Been suggested I should be looking for £2000 ovno, and I'd rather keep it for anything not close to top dollar as I really love Libertads, my favourite by far! Hopefully there is another enthusiast out there too! I do have a 1oz reverse proof too, but looking to get that graded but may sell for the right price! Will do a photo if any interest!

Yeah they look good the gillicks! I'd send them off for grading but don't know enough about it to know if it would be worth my while but they are in great condition!
