I have re-reviewed some information supplied to me by a group of forum members as well as some other information that was recently supplied by one other forum member. Although I can not independently verify any information, and there was no reported private messages on TSF that could be validated (currently), taking the external evidence into consideration at face value and information taken directly from Bearest78, I have decided in the interests of being cautious and especially due to recent events to close this member's account @Bearest78 (operating as GALLERY8SIX LTD) this action is in good faith and for the benefit of the forum community. Please make sure that any payments sent to this member were to this company’s bank account: GALLERY8SIX LTD. If you had received any requests for money to be sent elsewhere please report those private messages. If an invoice was not made available at request please also report that private message. From the information supplied it is believed that this member is either likely or likely connected to a previously banned forum member. I had directly asked if they knew this person, which they denied, however the information/external evidence received shows otherwise. If you have any trades with this member please complete them and please do not start any more trades with this member. It is advisable not to trade with any banned members outside of the forum. (It is my understanding that several members who went on to trade outside of the forum with the previous said banned member in question are still waiting for stock to be delivered which never arrived) TSF benefits from member’s paid memberships including business accounts, so we obviously would not want to close an account unnecessarily, unless we believed it was in the best interest of the community. That member in question did not meet the recommendations in the following topic. Not to say that someone can't turn out to be a scammer even if meeting all of the recommendations below, but I would like to clearly state that they did not meet the recommendations (i.e. account age was lower than suggested, and they had little/no posts outside of trade topics interacting on the forum, low forum reputation points also etc) It was an unfortunate event, though fortunately I believe that most members affected were able to get money returned from their banks as this person was reported for fraud. They were also reported to the police and action fraud. If you would like to reduce risk as much as possible it is important to be aware of the following recommendations and understand that there is still some risk (as with anything in life)
