Colouration on a maple

Hey guys. I've never seen a coin like this before so thought I would ask what it could be.

I mean, Immediately I thought toning but I've never seen a coin toned the same colour all over. Also, never seen coins from the same batch be night and day different 

So thought I'd get opinions before pressing fire

The guy is saying it's a photo illusion and they are all actually the same, which has blown my mind 😅

Yes, it is possible. Maybe his phone is red or has a brownish case. In this situation, the reflection on the coin will show another colour.😊

Yeah its quite possible, I think I pissed the guy off though as he didnt reply to my amazement lol
