“For the obverse impression Our effigy with the inscription “· CHARLES III · D · G · REX · F · D · 2 POUNDS ·” and the date of the year, and for the reverse a depiction of the National Gallery accompanied by the inscription “200 YEARS OF THE NATIONAL GALLERY”.

The coins shall have a grained edge and in incuse letters the inscription “· MAIORVM GLORIA POSTERIS LVMEM EST”, save for the gold coin where the incuse letters shall be accompanied by a plain edge.’

This and the Buckingham Palace coin, both building themed, can go either way. One really needs to see the actual coin to decide whether they're worth buying or not.

If we do the right thing this time, we might have to do the right thing again next time.
