Today up for sale are these nice three half sovereigns.  Marsh rates the 1909 at £300, I know, but who am I to question an expert like Marsh/ Steve Hill. Marsh No 512, look it up in your price guide

OK, I would say between VF Very Fine and Fine. You can still see some of his  Bobby Charlton flick over hair at the front.
