I'm new to stacking and came across some 30gram Chinese Silver Panda coins. The price for one is currently $42.10 CAD.

Is there any reason the premium is higher than even American eagles and are these coins worth stacking or should I pass on them?

The Chinese Silver Panda coins have a higher quality finish, they are proof-like (mirror finish) and therefore command a higher premium over the other standard bullion coins. The design changes every year too, unlike the Canadian Maples or the American eagles.

Personally, I wouldn't stack silver pandas due to the high premium and also high mintage of 10 million in the last few years. Though I would still buy a couple annually for my collection.
