Help with a XIX century Christofle silver piece

Hi friends, May name is Ana and I need help with this piece, I do not have idea that could be, it is solid silver and have this small piece near the base and looks like as screw, is marked christofle and a scale inside a rhombus. Measures 6 " tall and weight near 400 grams, thank you very much for your help

Hello Ana

Its a posh bone holder, To help when carving a leg of mutton they were popular in the 1880s you would put the bone in the hole tighten the thumb screw then you could hold the joint of meat easily when carving. Quite a rare object hope this helps you with your further  research
