A beautiful near-flawless Gold Russian 5 Rubles, dated 1902 and graded by NGS as MS 66, the second highest grade coin of this type. 
 

The obverse features a portrait of the emperor Nicholas II facing left. The last Russian emperor, Nicholas rules from 1894 until his abdication in 1917, just over a year before his execution. 
 

The reverse shows the crowned, double-headed eagle of the Imperial coat of arms.

5 and 10 Ruble coins were introduced in 1886, lasting until production of Russian Gold coinage was suspended in 1911
